It’s Official: Resume Rescue is on summer break for the first time in 5 years ☀️

Hello job seekers!

Due to high demand and low bandwidth (aka it’s just me running this blog), Resume Rescue is no longer accepting new requests. This is to ensure that all existing requests in the queue are properly taken care of… and I totally apologize to everyone who has had to wait much longer than the standard 15 business days.

I know this is not ideal given that many of you are actively finding your next opportunity in a very competitive job market. I am not leaving you empty handed, so below are some more resources that can help you in the meantime.

🍀 First, I am sharing 200 days of resume + job hunting tips on LinkedIn. You can follow me there if you want daily bite sized tips.

🔥 Second, check out The Career Community page to see which hiring managers and recruiters are actively hiring. This is a great place for you to start networking towards your next job or company!

💎 Third, I recommend creating a career walking deck to stand out amongst other candidates. This asset complements your resume and helps you tell your personal + professional brand story to better connect with hiring managers and recruiters.

Thank you for your patience 🩵

I am really grateful to have had the opportunity to personally help 200+ people around the world and seeing some of you land your dream jobs at companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Salesforce, and Shopify.

My priority is to get through the current queue while looking after myself (mental health, wellbeing, self care, having fun, social life, sleeping, exercising, etc) and I appreciate your understanding as I take some much needed time to enjoy my summer plans.

Please keep checking kkarenism.com for new blog posts and content! Once I’m ready, I will make another announcement and re-open the Resume Rescue form to accept new requests. Reminder that all premium packages require that you make a charitable donation to GiveWell or a registered charity of your choice as I am not personally accepting any money at this point.

My goal is to continue making the job hunting and career development journey less painful for you folks, so please keep sharing your ideas + feedback via LinkedIn or kkarenism@gmail.com 🌻
