Why You Should Know the Pomodoro Technique for Time Management

Ever since my days in university, I’ve been a huge fan of the Pomodoro Technique. This technique was especially helpful during exam seasons when I had to study and focus for hours on end.

These days, the technique comes second nature to me… and it keeps me productive and helps me manage my energy levels throughout the day.

What is the Pomodoro Technique?

Basically, you take 5 minute micro breaks in between your 25 minute focus blocks. This breaks up your day into chunks of time, which makes it a lot more manageable.

Each “Pomodoro” is the 30 minute chunk that includes the focus block + micro break.

After you complete a few Pomodoros, you can take an extended break.
